On West Japan JR Bus-operated daytime departures only, a pet in a case of about 90 cm total dimensions is accepted. Ordinary pets are not accepted on night departures; assistance dogs are allowed.

Restricted or prohibited itemsDo not place valuables, fragile goods, precision equipment, perishables or mobile batteries in the trunk. Oversized suitcases, skis, snowboards and bicycles are refused.
